Customer request/problem

Our client is a very successful global player and payment provider in the online payment sector. In order to grow further in the global market and to be able to offer new solutions, there was a need to create a next generation platform.

Implementation

The architecture is based on a highly scalable microservice architecture, which is designed to be highly available for global operation.

Our task was to develop and to design a microservice framework for the integration of over 240 supplier interfaces.

The implementation of the platform development is based on a Kubernetes-based micro service platform, including service discovery, internal load balancing, various distributed design patterns (circuit breaker, leaky bucket,…), implementation of additional processes, highly configurable rules engine, generic, dynamic responsive web frontend and much more.

Challenges

In addition to the high availability and scalability, the platform connects and integrates over 200 external systems to include hundreds of different interfaces. The goal is to implement the different business processes within a single business process.
