Customer request/problem
Our client is a very successful global player and payment provider in the online payment sector. For better planning, our client was in need of a new platform to forecast various key sales figures. A web-based tool which offers sales staff the possibility to manage their sales forecasts for the next 12 months was to be developed. It should also provide the management with a continuous overview of the sales activities for the next 12 months.
Implementation
Against the background of the detailed requirements of the sales department we developed a modern web-based online tool.The sales staff enter their forecasts for the next 12 months every month or revise the existing forecasts based on the latest findings, which makes the forecast for the upcoming months more accurate. The tool also offers a forecast up to one year into the future. Further features are customer classification, country-based reports, connection to the existing CRM, integration into the existing single sign-on system and thus into the company-wide user administration. The application is multi-client capable and is designed for group-wide use.
Challenges
The detailed requirements were developed iteratively together with the specialist department. Due to the extensive and complex integration into complex systems, a lot of effort was put into quality assurance in the integration. The real environment was replicated for the integration. In order to simulate live operations across multiple locations a test database was created.

Our client is a diversified group with many subcontractors. We have tailored and adapted this tool exactly to the organisational structure and needs of our client. The application is multi-client capable, fully integrated into the user administration and can therefore be used by all sales staff and local or global management.
